Voyage logbook

Every delivery day is recorded: where she left, where she arrived, times underway, and notes that matter. Owners and invited visitors can review the log for their boat.

A yacht delivery shouldn’t leave you wondering where your boat is or what happened along the way. Weather windows open and close. Nights may be spent in marinas. A short bay crossing or offshore run is very different from a day on the Intracoastal Waterway, where long distances often traverse very remote, rural, and sparsely populated areas.

Live tracking and the voyage logbook replace “we’ll call when we get there” with a clear record of the journey—whether you’re waiting at the destination dock or following the passage from home.

How live follow works

During the job, the crew can share live location with the owner and selected visitors. You open Marina Life (or your visitor portal) on phone or laptop. When a position is active, the map follows the vessel automatically — no need to hunt for a “follow” button as an owner or guest.

Sharing is controlled. It is not a public map of every boat we run. Only people tied to your delivery see your vessel.

How the Logbook Works

Owners can open their boat’s logbook through the customer portal. Each day on the water is entered by the captain as a log day, recording:

• Departure and arrival locations and times
• Hours underway and distance traveled
• Weather conditions
• Layover or delay days, including the reason, such as weather or mechanical issues

The logbook provides a day-by-day record of the vessel’s delivery passage.

What you will not see

• Other customers’ boats, logs, or positions
• A guarantee of continuous cell signal offshore — updates arrive when the device can report
